Oklahoma City-based Vista Investment Partners announced this month a
merger with Richmond, Indiana investment firm Bartel, Guiley Group.
The merger represents Vista’s first launch into establishing a presence outside of Oklahoma. Bartel, Guiley Group, currently a branch of Raymond James & Associates, Inc., will officially become Vista Investment Partners on January 2, 2018. While both offices will continue to work in partnership with Raymond James & Associates, who acts as custodian of client assets, Bartel, Guiley Group will operate independently as Vista Investment Partners.
Vista Investment Partners was formed in 2009 by Ron Richardson, CFP® and Senior Portfolio Manager, after 25 years in the industry. Following a successful tenure at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, he pursued his desire to serve clients with his own proven investment strategies and a focus on close client relationships and personalized service over rapid growth.
The merger will change the name of the Indiana office, but day-to-day operations will remain the same. Current clients in both offices will continue to work with the same people and can expect the same high level of service they’ve always experienced. The only difference will be a transition to using the proven investment strategies and methodologies that are exclusive to Vista.
“This merger represents the combination of two strong, client-driven cultures;” Richardson said, “We have worked with the Bartel, Guiley Group for nearly five years. They share our commitment to the client, and embody strong ethics and integrity. We are excited about this step in our evolution.”
